Kennesaw State Upsets Florida Gulf
Fort Myers, Florida -- After two homes wins against Central Florida and Tennessee, the #7 ranked Owls traveled south to face #5 Florida Gulf Coast. Kennesaw and Florida Gulf have a rivaled past competing every year swapping wins and losses. After being down 2-0 after the first period, KSU came back with 4 goals in the second. Florida Gulf would battle back but Kennesaw would put the game winner with 2:30 left in the third with a power play goal. The Owls for first time these season were at full strength with Blake Czaja back in the lineup after having elbow surgery. He would put a couple of points.
