Friday night the Owls will renew an old rivalry from their time in Division III. The Tennessee Volunteers will be at the Town Center Ice forum to take on KSU. Come out and watch the game as these two former division rivals faceoff on the ice. The puck drops at 10:00 PM.
Owls Return Victorious
Kennesaw, Georgia -- The Owls returned home to take on the Knights from the University of Central Florida. KSU scored first late in the first period, and took the lead into the locker room following the first period. The second period was a back and forth struggle as both teams found the back of the net in the second period. UCF scored three second period goals and the Owls netted two as the second period ended in a tie. The third period belonged to the Owls who scored two goals to and hung on to beat UCF six to four.
