Owls Seeded #3 In Southeast For Nationals

Kennesaw, Georgia -- The ACHA released notification that Kennesaw State University will be seeded #3 in the Southeast and will be playing teams in Pool C for the National Tournament in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Pool C consists of #1 from the Northeast Division Siena College, #2 of the West Division Weber State University and #4 from the Central Division DePaul University.

The Owls are familiar with reaching the National Tournament. In 2007, Kennesaw State University would be the first team from the South to win a Division 3 National Championship. In 2008, KSU moved up to Division 2 and fell a little short losing in overtime to Indiana, the team that made it to the finals only to lose to Davenport. Kennesaw continues to be the underdog working from #9 to #3 in the Southeast and are training hard to make it to the Finals.

Kennesaw opens Pool C games on Tuesday, March 17 at 10am against Weber State in Grand Rapids. The Owls would like to thank all their fans for their continued support and plan to bring back another National Championship.
