New York -- The KSU Owls traveled North to play a tough 4 game road trip and topped off a very completive showing with a 4 -1 victory over the # 1 ranked SIENA. Andrew Chlebek scored two goals and Chris Koutnic and Jimmy Barry added singles.
In other matches the OWLs led all three teams only to loose 4-3 to # 1 SE Ranked Wagner, 5-3 to # 2 NE Ranked William Patterson and 5-3 to # 5 Texas Tech.
Goal tender Ben Powers continues to hold the OWLs in close games and handled 154 shots over the 4 game weekend.
Come to the Crush Kentucky this weekend and support your Owls. Kennesaw for the first time at home will play Division 2 Rival and 8th in the Southeast University of Kentucky. The games are Friday and Saturday at 10pm at Town Center.
