Owls Split Away Weekend
Grand Valley State, Michigan -- The Owls took to the road after the alumni game. Kennesaw would play 4 games in 4 days against some stiff competition. KSU split the weekend with 2 big wins over Wright State University, 7-1, on Thursday and over nationally ranked Colorado State, 6-5 in overtime. Forward Rod Johnson scored the game winner with less than a minute to play. The team unfortunately had losses to Colorado and Wagner during the Grand Valley State University Invitational. The top line for this weekend was Jerry Holden, Jean-Marc Biron and Brett Brodie, scoring a total of 12 points over the 4 games.
