This Friday, Feb. 8, 2008, the
Owls will take on in-state rival The University of Georgia Bull Dogs.
The game starts at 10:00 PM at the Town Center Ice Forum. Pre-game festivities begins with Project 9-6-1 at 9:30pm in the Town Center parking lot. Be prepared
for a fast paced, hard hitting game as the two teams meet up for the
first time this year.
Disappointing Loss Not Enough to Keep Owls Down
Oxford, OH -- After the tie Friday night the Owls came back Saturday hoping for
something more. Unfortunately, the Owl's offense was stymied by
penalties throughout the game. The lack of offense resulted in a 5-2
loss for the Owls. Freshmen Drew Baker was the lone goal scorer on the
night, netting two goals on the night. Looking ahead the Owls have
much to be excited about. The Owls have likely secured a spot at this
year's ACHA D2 regional tournament held in Washington D. C., Feb. 22
& 23.
