Town Center -- After the Owls had a winning record on their Florida road trip, 2 games to 1, they returned to Town Center to face #8 Ranked Wright State University. WSU won the D3 National Championship the year before Kennesaw took their title and advanced to D2 this year. Kennesaw proved tonight that they were going to be a bigger challenge.
The Owls dominated all aspects on the ice. #11 Forward Dylan Morrison earned 7 points on the night with a hat trick and 4 assists. Rookie Goalie Ben Powers again put up a stellar performance only allowing one powerplay goal in the first period. KSU would take the night 9 to 1.
Kennesaw will face Wright State again tomorrow night at 10pm at Town Center before traveling to Ohio next weekend. Come out and support the Owls for their second to last home game of the season.
