Town Center -- The Owls made an invitation to a special guest to the team that help pass legislation to place Kennesaw State in the record books. Legislator Mark Burkhalter made an appearance to drop the celebratory first puck as KSU faced NC State.
The tight niched match started strong for the Owls as they out shot and out skated NC State. However, the Wolf Pack held the game close by scoring a goal midway through the third, despite Goalie Ryan Repasi's solid game play. Team Captain and Veteran Defensman Curtis Morrison sealed the game with a hard fought goal skating through the NC State zone. Kennesaw won 3-2 and continues their winning streak.
The Owls look forward to facing Division 2 Liberty University. Kennesaw has faced Liberty's Division 1 team and held it to close games last season. They will play Liberty on Friday and Saturday at 10pm at Town Center. So come out and support your Fighting Owls.
